Unless your home was specially constructed for energy efficiency, you can probably reduce your energy bills by adding more insulation. Adding insulation can also contribute towards an even temperature distribution throughout and improved acoustics. In addition, insulation can help with better moisture control, which can reduce floor squeaks, drywall cracks, structure damage and condensation. Many older homes have less insulation than homes built today, but even adding insulation to a newer home can pay for itself within a few years. Installing proper insulation levels can also make your home more attractive to potential buyers. In fact, most buyers list energy-efficiency as a prime consideration. The reason? Buyers know they can buy a more expensive home if heating and cooling bills can be kept down.
Warren Roofing offers two types of insulation and have partnered with Atlas and Owens Corning® to provide you with the best options.
Atlas® Rigid Foam Cross Ventilated Roof Insulation:
Approved for use as a non-structural panel in new and re-roofing applications. ACFoam CrossVent is typically installed over sloped solid-wood and metal roof decks. Deck slope must be appropriate for the type of roof system specified. Typical roof systems include asphalt shingles, standing seam metal, tile and slate. ACFoam CrossVent is not designed or approved for vertical application. The architect, engineer or design professional is responsible for determining the need for and location of a vapor/air retarder.
AttiCat® Expanding Blown-In Insulation
Adding insulation to your attic is a blast with the AttiCat® Insulation Blowing Machine! It conditions the AttiCat® Expanding Blown-In PINK Fiberglas™ Insulation by breaking it up and fluffing it, adding millions of the tiny air pockets that give the material its insulating power. The insulation is conditioned further throughout the length of the hose, and as it bounces its way up to your attic, more and more air pockets are added, increasing its insulating power even more. And since Fiberglas™ insulation will not settle, it will keep its energy-saving R-value over time.
No Mess:
- Fiberglas™ insulation releases and expands completely inside machine
- Provides easy clean-up because machine does the work for you
- Low dust system
Safe and Reliable:
- Optimized process for minimal handling
- Fully enclosed system
- Hose-mounted remote control
